ITV 1999 Generic Mocks

I made some mock idents one month ago showing designs based on what UTV, Scottish, and Grampian would use if they adopted the 1999 Hearts ident package. I made three designs for each region and everyone can choose which designs they like best. Here they are:

All I see is the UTV logo.

Which is far too big.

I have no idea what hosting service you use, but it doesn't work. Try using the metropol uploader (just hit the upload button when creating a new post)

I can see them all, they're hosted on Wikia for some unknown reason...

Like Bail has said, use the Metropol uploader if you haven't got your own space to upload....

OK. In reponse, I have relocated my images to the Metropol service and I have reuploaded them. I promise they will appear in full this time. I think they look so much better, don't you?

The left version of Scottish Television looks good, the rest don't really work though.

Not bad, but it would be better if it was put in motion.
Problem with the Grampian one is that there is too much space between the logo and text. The text is too distorted as well.

Don't like UTV at all
The first Scottish one is good, so is the second Grampian one. If you can move the text up to near the logo, that would be great.

He uploads his mocks to Scratchpad, a sandbox wiki on Wikia.

It's no wonder they said thanks but no thanks to those generic idents. Not quite sure how to rate this - they look awful but that's not your fault - indeed it shows you've accurately replicated what they would have looked like.

Maybe an alternative idea for the generic idents back in 1999 would be an idea to explore, even if it's just the endboard. Something that would have bought a bit of uniformity to the ITV look but without so brutally diminishing the regional identities.

OK. I have heard your opinions and I used Yorkshire Television as a subject for a 1999 generic heart ident mock I've just made that features spinning Yorkshire chevrons and a heart in the foreground. Here it is:
