I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here Rebrand

A fresh new look for the reality show. (November 2019)

Keep trying - the second version is miles better, but still looks like something designed on WordArt (doubt you're even old enough to remember that!) rather than fit enough to appear on screen.

I'm not a fan at all of how long this look has lasted - it's a strong look but I think even if the basic logo remains the same they should be refreshing things slightly every few years.

I think the tricky thing with this show is it is a very wordy logo, but it needs to be recogniseable in a small size in various places.

To be honest I still have "revived version" vibes. But yes as Brekkie says, the curve effect is right out of Wordart. The problem with WordArt (as seen in Office) is despite what the literature and the previews say, you can tell it from a mile off as it's so samey. That may be useful information to you.

Dosent look that nice.

The sort of thing you could've gone for, it's not the finished article but it's a starting point:

I never said it was nice, I even said it’s not the finished article, it’s just giving him inspiration. Which 7 people gave me kudos for and will help Owen to improve.

I can see potential in this. I think there is a sense of fun to it. I know the Aussie version does it I’m not sure about splitting the ‘I’m a’ and ‘celebrity’.

No, that's not how things work around here. All members are allowed to respond, regardless of the number or quality of their mocks. You're free to ignore and argue with their feedback, but you don't get to tell anyone they're not allowed to post unless you have a Moderator tag next to your username.

Thanks for all the new feedback, and yes I probably did over do it with the WordArt - don’t worry it was made in Photoshop though Smile I think separating the I’m A and Celebrity is better as you can really emphasise the Celebrity. In my next one I’ll be sure to tone down the arc.

Here is my next version of this rebrand. I toned down the curviness of the words and changed the background image. I also adjusted the bevel of the CELEBRITY and changed the colour of the Get Me Out Of Here. The I'm A was adjusted slightly too. Hope you like and I'm open to new feedback Smile

Didn't you use DeMarkay's celebrity wording?

No, more an iffy recreation of it.

I think the tricky thing is you're going from a logo which is designed to be part of the landscape in the final shot to a logo that is just slapped on the screen.

Also a single screenshot doesn't always do an idea justice - obviously most of us here don't have the talents of some of the people who contribute video mocks but maybe giving an idea of the title sequence as well would help.

What he could do is kindly ask someone to create a short video mock up for him as an example?

Yes, while I do have some skills with Apple Motion 5, they aren’t anywhere near advanced enough to create an I’m A Celeb title sequence. It would be great if someone used my design in a mock title sequence. Smile
