Good Morning Britain Mock - Version 2

Hello, I have made some updates to my GMB mock, including sizing and color schemes. I hope you enjoy and any constructive/helpful feedback will be welcomed. I am aware that this is just 1 photo, so not much to go from, but I will be updating in the coming days.

Is it meant to me a recreation of what’s used now or your own take?

An attempt of the current graphics.

The #GMB bug is much too large in terms of height. Everything else is decent, obviously Reem would be the best font, but I accept most people don't have it. Drop me a PM and I'll send you a basic package of reem

I used Titillium in order to get to get the closest I could to Reem but I'll take the comments into consideration. I tried to make the bug the same size as the logo, as it is on the show.

I've managed to update the mock, changing heights of the straps where necessary (many thanks to freddied056). I have also updated to Reem (once again, many thanks to dbl) so the fonts should be quite similar to GMB itself.

All good apart from the strap which contains the story and info. That is very messy. The main headline needs to be bigger and so does the info. In terms of height they need to be closer to each other. Also, the tag at the top of this strap looks a bit odd, but I can't put my finger on why

Why are you rendering it on a radioactive green canvas?

Yeah, for the tag I see what you mean, it's not equal on both sides and its larger on one side but I have edited this. I've only got the basic Reem package so I can't replicate it fully, but I can edit this.


Well, it's either this or a photo of Piers Morgan. Your choice.

Good start.

Logo and clock seem largely bang on to my eyes.

See if you can align/size the text within the grey flipper box with that of the 'headlines' box to the left of it.

The text in the 'Entertainment' box is too large.

Take a look at how 'real' GMB displays the information in the main white information box - the text is a lot larger and closer together than you've displayed it.

Keep going - you're doing well.

Thanks for the tips, I've tried to fix the alignment of the of the flipper text and the Headlines strap and the font sizes.
