Personally, I felt that Good Morning Britain's Election graphics were a mess. So since May, I've been working on a recreation/improvement of them. I moved the count bug to the top left of the screen and changed the astons to match GMB's usual style. I also created a new bug that shows the result in each constituency. The bug shows the share of the vote and a party gain/hold/loss. By my quick calculations, it would take 27 minutes to cover every constituency (if every result was in). However, not very many seats have been declared by the morning, so it wouldn't take as long to go through every constituency.

Here's a comparison between the real thing and my mock:

As always, constructive criticism is always appreciated. Smile

Election 2015 is over and done with, and the next will be Election 2020 so why post a mock now of 2015's Election...

You have only just posted another mock and have been given constructive criticism to improve it so why would you, once again, start another thread to post another mock that can be recreated within 5 minutes.

You really do need to slow down with the posting, and rather then beginning a new thread for something different each time, you should improve on the other recent mocks.

This mock is no different to the current graphics used and to be quite honest, the animation is worse then what there already is.

I've been working on this for a while now, and have only just got around to posting it. Is that ok? There clearly are differences between the current graphics. Also, you would not get this done in 5 minutes.

Why would there be any rule (informal or otherwise) about mocking things from the past? There's plenty of people on here that only mock things that have already happened.

Pretty good design. Sure, it's built around the normal GMB astons but it looks far superior to what we had at the election.
My only complaint is the exit poll panels could do with the GMB logo shape being integrated, as it's a bit boxy.

Oh, and you might want to change the year from 2015 to 2020. Smile

Thank you. Maybe the exit poll boxes could have been rounded, that would have fitted GMB better.

I agree dosxuk, members create recreations from all time periods, and they never receive any complaints.

I would say that if you change it to 2020 you may as well change the name of the programme. I doubt Good Morning Britain will still be here in 5 years.

I wouldn't call this an improvement at all. Good Morning Britain's a shambles enough as it is, but to tweak what they have and made it look even more clunky and awkward really is something else.

I swear I'll NEVER understand this teenage obsession with GMB.

So far, the comments on this mock entail:

- Four insults
- Criticisms over the time period (which seemingly only apply to my mock)
- One generalisation

And just ONE piece of feedback which I can use to improve. Additionally, all of the comments that contain rudeness get kudos. It's totally bizarre. Actual feedback is ignored in favour of petty insults that are used by the poster to make themselves feel better and more superior. The Gallery is just a place for general nastiness, with the odd bit of feedback.

You say that you've worked on this for ages yet it appears to be the same as the rest of the GMB mocks on here. to be honest, I don't see any difference to the others.
