According to youy mocks in the first post, the aston and ticker are meant to go right to the edge of the of the screen, so why do they start in between in the 4:3 and 16:9 frame?
The Red box is the 16:9 area, the space outside of that is useless as it wouldn't be seen on screen!

Sorry that is wrong, the whole area of the image, the outermost lines are the 16:9 area.

I'd say the addition of some things isn't copying, as it's something you'd add in anyway. I've put in
bold
the ones which aren't really copying.
He's not exactly going to put his Laptop and set of Coffee mugs on the floor, is he? The desk is different, but both of your desks are circular, with an extra circle thing on top. The moving of the graphics is what I've done in a mock I'm developing for Daybreak (yes, I know. We could make a mock amnesty for this...)

It's OK, I took all my mocks of Sketchup after someone downloaded them and then uploaded them onto TV Forum saying that they we're his. Then he got banned.

The 'LIVE' and 'Daybreak Exclusive' strap is an oddity. It's out of the 16:9 (title) safe area, and in the 4:3 (title) area. I don't like it's placement at all. Also, the placing of the 'Coming up' strap is also an odd one. It's in a seemingly random place halfway up the screen during Daybreak, and then closer to the bottom during Lorraine? Also, I don't think the yellow bar is needed for the 'LIVE' strap, and so on - I don't think it's needed there, and you could use another animation, instead of the same old wipe.
It's improved, yet the ticker and clock are still dull shades of grey, and your graphics are in some odd places.

Sorry Critique, I was told that the 16:9 title area is the haul grey bit, is that right of is it the stuff inside the red lines?
The Coming up strap is in different place' because the ticker wouldn't be used during Lorraine!
