I've tried to recreate the new Daybreak logo (The background is copied), The logo is designed from scratch. Please tell me what you think. Thanks.

Yah... This is a good week we're having.

Well as it's a Logo recreation and not a background/package one, it makes sense to use the existing one

If the only thing you have produced is a logo, the maximum you can get is three. It was poorly executed. You presented it as a title slide and as a result lost additional points for including a background you didn't recreate.

If you had only presented the logo on a gray placeholder background... it would still have got ONE star because the logo isnt good enough quality to deserve anything more from me.

Pretty good recreation, I think the sun needs some work though, 3/5 from me.

It's not exactly a difficult logo to replicate (I could produce something simillar in about 10 minutes), so I'm rating this rather low I'm afraid.

Thanks for the constructive feedback, I guess from this I will persue a graphics package over the coming weeks and be back soon.

When you say soon if it could mean "once I've had a lot of practice on my own to get the hang of the programme" and not "the same afternoon I install it"

Thanks.
