It's not bad compared to previous mocks. What's with the black bars?

It's because when taking a screen shot it takes a photo os the entire screen, black bars and all!

So it's done in Powerpoint.

No, it's done on a programme that one of my clients has built, It pretty much takes a screenshot of the design that you've created they are still working on it which is why it's not yet been put out for all to download and use!

I call shenanigans. Nearly EVERY professional design package has the option to export an image no matter what stage you are at. The fact a 16:9 image is being displayed in a 16:10 frame suggests it is a powerpoint mock that has been screen printed by yourself.

EDIT: Better offer some advice anyway, the OSG need to be resized, they're far too big for HD TV and SD TV come to that, I just loaded one of your images in a full screen browser window on my HDTV at 1080p (I had to stretch it somewhat) and stood about 7 feet away, they were too big. I think if they were reduced in size they'd look much better.

Wouldn't that mean having to use another application to save the screenshot?

I'm struggling to see the benefits of this program....

You create the design on the programme then click save and it pretty much takes a screen shot!

These aren't that good, it isn't really that fresh or modern at all, in fact, feels like I've gone back 10 years.

Come back with something less "stylish" and more sustainable.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the screenshots ones I posted in the Daybreak thread? I've not got a problem though, carry one!

II actually like the concept of your mock, but it looks very BBC News, especially with the red logo and black clock!

Yes they are, hope you don't mind.
I see what you mean with the clock, I'm just doing some more so I'll look into that! Smile

Why change to red - the purple looks far more striking. As others have said it's the light weight font which is the bigger issue.
