Another Daybreak mock is here, still going with the purple colour scheme but ditching the unappealing grey and yellow.

Really, I'm not sure what's happened!?

Looking at them you have used a way too light weight font on most of the text.. On a small television the clock and the astons will be unreadable. Also the current Daybreak logo doesn't fit well with the font you have used in my opinion.

Pretty much sums up my thoughts, also, it's vile.

Is this something you think you'd like to see as Daybreak graphics? Whilst you've changed the weight of the font so it's now readable, it's still enormous. The ticker, for example, only has room for 5 or 6 words, when there should be around double that amount visible, at least. Also, the colours don't work with the Daybreak logo, and are too dark for Breakfast TV. Would you like a bold Purple logo, accompanied by dark grey and white text.

And one final point I have to make, is that the Name straps don't work very well, in my opinion. They don't use much of the lower-third area of the screen, and are too big, anyway. They almost use more space vertically that they do horizontally.

It's not bad compared to previous mocks. What's with the black bars?

It's because when taking a screen shot it takes a photo os the entire screen, black bars and all!

The name strap should be in-line with the Daybreak text, with it also having equal amount of space around the text.

Too much grey. Dull.
