Well no, but when more than one person says it looks empty, all I see is an empty looking hole... so I filled it with triangles. The platform is from the original and not from comments here, I needed another element for the rest of the titles to fly around 
And I wanted to see if I could do a decent fake reflection

Some people are clearly incapable of seeing quality. Or there are some seriously spiteful individuals who think tactical voting is acceptable.
Strange to see this mock going from "Outstanding" down to 4 stars, then up again to "Outstanding" and back down again to 4 stars when it's clearly among the best!!

Completely disagree with the first point but agree with the second - as nice as it is to see advise taken on board "design by committee" rarely works out well.
Still think the middle is too dark personally, though it looks much better in the animation than in a still.

I like the fuller crystal. Have you considered having hints of light reflected in the background, rather than just plain black?
Also I'm sure you have already considered this, but using the tessellation pattern of the crystal superimposed on the footage for the titles.
And something I'm just throwing out there, is the wireframe maps of the zones, but given the same tessellated treatment as the crystal, only in other colours.

There's me thinking the whole point of posting mocks in The Gallery was to gain feedback and take it on board. In my opinion (if I may be so bold as to have one) Bail has done a great job in doing this without compromising his vision.

Why not just turn the Post Reply option off altogether then?
There's me thinking the whole point of posting mocks in The Gallery was to gain feedback and take it on board. In my opinion (if I may be so bold as to have one) Bail has done a great job in doing this without compromising his vision.

Dont be so daft. Feedback is completely unwanted, as has been shown by many in this gallery, and absolutely nobody takes it on board. Also you are most definitely not allowed to have an opinion.
Facetiousness aside. I dont understand why you think my post is a criticism of your (or others) opinion.
There is such a thing as taking on board too much criticism. We've seen experienced mockers do this frequently. In an attempt to please the 'committee' on this forum they try to add, remove or change everything that is suggested and it has resulted in them losing their original idea. Innovative design is very often squandered when a designer looks for opinion too early in the process and i was worried (as Bail had already incorporated the advice of others into his work) that this would be one of those occasions, hence my politely worded request to Bail to please resist the temptation to try and please everyone. That includes me.
I still think the original pass at this idea was the best. I feel i was very clear, the new additions are not an improvement. Saying something is not an improvement does not mean that it is worse than the original. It is just different. I did not say that Bail had done anything wrong. My rating is still 5/5.
Quite frankly i dont understand why everyone is jumping down my throat just lately over semantics. I'm not posting any differently to how i've always posted.
