A Chart Show Revival

What if Trace had kept the Chart Show brand and went from there?

This is something I wasn't sure was even possible with the software, but I've actually had a go at animating the on-screen graphics. This is the first time I've properly done this kind of animation so it's still a little rough (the end transition still needs quite a bit of polishing) but it should give you an idea of how they animate on screen. It also has a hint of the stuff I'm trying out for transitional graphics (now-next menus and endboards).

I've also moved the DOG ever so slightly so it lines up roughly in the centre of the 'NOW' graphic.

I really like it.

I've been doing some extra work on this concept but I wanted to get your feedback on a possible logo modification:
*
I've been playing around with the logo and how I can apply it in different ways, and I noticed that the symbol doesn't really work without text. Therefore I had a go at altering the right circle for a more streamlined look. I've also changed the 'signature colour' to a slightly brighter hue. Which one do you think is better - the original (left) or the new modified one (right)?

Both in my opinion, but the right looks better if I had to choose one.

Definitely the right. Looks a lot more consistent with the left side.

I have an exciting development...

I've finished the animated graphics for during the videos, and with the magical powers of chroma key, I was able to make a proper preview of what it would look like on screen! You might notice the font change in the song/artist name - I went for a mixed case font to use for all 'body text' but keeping the existing uppercase font for the logo and NOW graphics. I've also altered the logo slightly to make it more even, continuing the last change I did with the logo.

The logo doesn't work as a DOG I feel, as the large part at the top either has to be on screen in full which pushes the DOG further down into the picture, or if it remains as is, it'll be cut off which looks odd. Perhaps that part could be modified or the 'headphone' motif could be a lot smaller and beside the text rather than around it?
