Not mad keen on this, very this morning crossed with Channel 3 North East blended with STV.

I think the glow effects are spoiling it.

Hold on, is this meant to be simplistic? Well it does not look simplistic.

The fonts are all wrong, and its not that simplistic, your overusing a lot of effects. Just tone it down a little and use some more safer sans serif fonts.

Garish. This isn't simplistic at all. There's way too much going on with the excessive glows, alised fonts and tacky logo. This is simplistic:

In future, save mocks in .png, the pixellation is appalling imo.
