Mock Design Challenge Runner Up!
Thought I'd give this a go!
I went for a very simple logo (which I've just realised looks a bit similar to another entry - but great minds think alike...) so that it can be adaptable for the range of factual and entertainment programming on the channel. I've complimented this I think with bold imagery and typography.
Trailer endboard
This would slide in over the trailer, giving it a slight colour tint.
Coming up menu
This shows the current show, and then slides to the left to reveal later shows in the 'timeline'. It follows a similar style to the trailers to help create a strong identity, and obviously the background colour can be easily adapted to other colours suitable to the programming.
Idents
Obviously these are more about concept than execution. The idea I have is a basically zoomed in version of the logo. Initially, the screen would be filled with some bold video, and the camera would zoom out to reveal that this is essentially a 'window' into the 6. In the background would be some contrasting video, creating dynamic idents that allow some humour but can also be serious. I've probably explained this really badly, so here are a couple of rough designs.
The camera would begin with a lot of fish swimming around, before the camera zooms out to show images of a seaside town, where tourists are eating fish and chip takeaways.
The camera begins with a beautiful desert, and slowly reveals a contrasting image of a tropical paradise.

I think that the mock is great and very well executed, I especially like the Trailer End-boards you have designed and the typography used.
