OK better, still don't like that '5', seems a bit too angled and does not stand out as much.

Also I suggest looking at some free font sites to see any good fonts, Verdana is not a good choice.

If you want my advice, I think you need to stop and take stock of what's been said/visualised to help you.

At the moment you seem in a hurry to churn out the next version and you're in danger of veering off course. You had something with your initial idea, it was very rough and ready but with refinement and correction of the consistency issues mentioned it could be a winner.

C5 has arguably the best designed on screen pres around at the moment, so you'll be going some to beat it.

Initial split second thought was 'swastika'. Perhaps a little unfortunate.

The idents are alright, but the logo is god awful.

The logo may be dire but the way they use it certainly isn't. The non-Twitter based idents and the countless endboard variations manage to turn a rotten pumpkin into a chariot, for which they deserve tremondous credit.

Not to my taste, to me it reminds me of the old five design, it all looks too stretched and if the tv ratio is on stretch it will look horrible. The Color scheme isnt obvious too.
