Channel 4 possible alternate logo

So recently I've been mucking around with a Four concept which instead of the numeral 4, uses the word "four" like the old Channel Five logo from 2002. I decided if they were to use this version, they should use it as an alternate (in tandem with the numeral logo) instead of scrapping it. It's just so iconic.

On first glance it looks like a "Four", but the more I look at it the less it looks like "Four" if that makes sense. It's decent, but gets a bit confusing

I think it may be because of the "f"

Here's one for E4, this time reading as "EFour"

I feel like if this was subtly placed in the background somewhere it'd be quite nice, maybe as a small repeating pattern. With the current logo front and centre.

So like I did before but the "four" isn't highlighted?

Here is an animated logo I whipped up for use at the end of programmes and at the beginning of home media releases.

Ooh, I rather like the colours, Nancer! I almost feel it's a shame to waste how nice it looks with different coloured sections on a very quick effect to bring up the white logo.

I paused the video during the transition and I really like how this (see below) appears:



I personally think this would be a great style for the standard logo.

The logo with the colours in does look good. When I looked at the black, grey and white logo I, and it's just my opinion, thought it just didn't quite look right between the u and the r. It looks a lot more pleasing on the eye with the colours.
