BSkyB - The Diamond Standard!

The idea occurred to me just after publishing the BSB widescreen bit - what about if Sky were a little more sharing and adapted their idents to BSB's diamond idea? Below are the results:

You can see that they start out as VERY rough sketches; as the final products come one by one, they replace the corresponding sketch on the paper, which is why The Movie Channel is already finalised.

So, what do you think of the designs?

I like the idea, the Scottish, Pick TV, Sports Gold, 3D, Eurosport and Atlantic designs in particular look very good.

Wonderful to see someone produce a mock using pencil and paper! I like the mocks quite a lot, too. From where the '2' in the Sky2 logo comes out of the Diamond, to how you've used part of the Chervron in the PickTV logo, down to the elements in the Arts logo! Will be interesting to see it when you've added more of the computer creations!

Thanks for the comments! Yerse, I'm partial to the Scottish and Pick TV ones myself; they'll probably be the first to be released, maybe the Box Office ones too.

I love it, if you get around to doing the SKY Atlantic one maybe you could incorporate some of London and New Yorks skyline together to match their idents?

Really fantastic, however the Movie Screen font is the same as the ITV1 and 2.

Well yes. But it's simpler that way.

Hm. You're right, they don't. I'll have to give them an overhaul. Of course it'll need a little tweaking and things. Although I'm sure the 1 looks fine!
