That is absolutely pants. All you have done is added some blocky text onto a screen grabbed image. If you want to copy an image, give it some "flair", such as my BBC World one, taken from a wallpaper.

Where did you get the wallpaper from? Can you tell me where to get it. It looks nice

or http://www.bbcworld-japan.com/programs

It either has an 's' on the end or doesn't. Can't remember for exact.

No offence but, as everyone else has said, a bit of an effort would have been nice...

Forget it. You asked for comments, yet didn't choose to listen in your first "mock". You spent your silver bullet, bucko.

Oh, how I love Americans! Their use of the English language is second to none!

You are totally right though Robert!

Hey, if our president's from Texas, that means every American should talk like a dim-witted Texan! Right?! Right?!

All the mocks i've ever made for my own private enjoyment have never been anything special - but this person must be joking. Twice.

I have to ask to the person contributing the mocks the following question: have you even bothered to look at any of the other topics with mocks in where people have actually receaved positive comments? I suspect not.

It is clear you have made absolutely no effort at all to create these... so called 'mocks', which frankly would be better described as 'muck'. You have just copied a web graphic and filled it to some random television type shaped square.

You have then completely ignored to space your text out from the edge of the screen - you need to leave a very generous gap (about 25 pixels) space on that resolution to have a 'safe zone' so all the graphics will appear on screen. As it is, the text at the top of your Sport picture will be completely off any television screen, and if your lucky, the very top tips of the letters for the web address might just about show on most TV screens.

From what I have seen so far, if you do have any asperations at all of being a serious graphics designer, I would urge you to reconsider immediately - even if you did somehow get a job, you'd get your backside kicked out the door and banned from the building within the morning and you'd be damn lucky to find another job elsewhere within the industry... Time to look for another career path my friend.

Right then. I can honestly say it is one of the worst mocks I have ever seen. I mean no malice by this - if you want to do some more, I could give some constructive criticism.

1) You have used a BBC World Breakfiller and simply put the text on it. (I presume it's from Pablo's site?) Why? The best thing would be to have started from scratch and made your own template.

2) The text is WAY too big! Have a look on WORLDwatch to see the text in normal size and compare to the size of yours.

3) Although the idea of a mock is to 'copy' something, I think it would have been better if you had done omething new and not decided to just copy the original (badly - sorry!)

Overall, not good but if you put your own ideas in and not copy theirs it might have been good. Maybe try again?

Sorry if it sounds harsh but it is really, really bad.

Its not one of the worst mocks you've seen, if you remember my green BBC North West mock - thats worse!!

Good Work BBCNEWS24 for a first effort.

Oh for the love of a lesbian...

That is crap. Never heard of the 'safe area' and the text isn't even anti-aliased or nothing. Plus the font size is too big and there is a space between the time and the programme name, not a colon.

Ever thought of having a few basic lessons in graphic design, BBCNEWS24 (aka Max)?
