With BBC World News to move to BH in June as we all know, i thought... what if they dont do a major rebrand, and instead just tweak the graphics in a similar way to the 2007 tweak to the ribbons.
COUNTDOWN:
First the countdown sequence which would involve a glassy textured ball featuring changing images of newsgathering and programme making. The camera and graphics would move around the globe as shown in the images below.
As the globe passes, a new larger logo is formed from within the globe, and is left in the middle of the screen as the globe exits stage left...
This final endboard would probably not stay on screen more than a second before the headlines/titles of whatever news programme.
Channel idents would be similar to the countdown and would feature a live image of the newsroom within the globe before the graphics.
BBC WORLD NEWS BULLETINS:
The Network titles... The globe would form from the white background...
...the camera would then fly inside for the title sequence...
...before pulling back out to reveal the end board.
We would then transition to reveal the studio.
(The Above Image is a photoshop touch-up of an original BBC render of Broadcasting House Studio B, the only thing i have done to it is to add my own graphics package. The studio itself was not created by me.)
BBC WORLD NEWS TODAY:
Images of various world landmarks apper inside a globe surrounded by a saturn-rings effect concluding with an image of broadcasting house...
...before transitioning to the final end board form up...
...a mock up of the studio backdrop...
