BBC Video logo

It doesn't work anywhere near as well without the phosphor colours underneath the logo. I can understand why they changed it.

The music does not suit an image that is so clear, if that makes sense.

I made an attempt many years ago, the result was terrible.

Ronnie, your attempt wasn't that bad, you got the basics right, it was just the way it was animated.

The only issue I have is that the phosphor bars "meant something" on the pre-1997 BBC Video logo, i.e. they animated on, remained and then formed part of the logo. On this, the lines animate in and out for no reason in particular.

How about having phospher bars come in to form the BBC blocks, with something similar coming in to form some VIDEO text?

It's just my two cents, but I prefer the second piece of music you used when you did the three variations. The slightly less morbid version suits the considerably friendlier logo. But that's just my opinion.
