BBC Video logo

"An update on an old classic".

This is a modern imagining of the 1990-97 BBC Video logo, used with the logo of that period.

I have decided to re-create the entire ident, incorporating the current BBC logo potentially being used for newer BBC DVDs and releases.

The logo's rather dark. Other than that, not a bad mock.

Good effort. If you made the BBC logo lighter, it would be better.

A very good update. The logo doesn't look quite right to me (wrong Gill weight I think) and it's a bit dark, but other than that, it's great.

Updated version with increased brightness on the logo. Also includes an end version with two different variations on the music.

Better logo-wise. 4 stars.

If any improvement is required, it's how the logo first appears on the screen.

Much better. I think a slower fade-in is required for the blocks, but other than that it's very good indeed. 4 stars.

How's this?

How about having a thicker colour bar across the middle with the logo then appearing from behind it (if that makes sense).

I don't know why but the combination of the 88' logo and that music was scary to everyone that I knew including me. Luckily they changed it with the 97 logo.
