With the menus, you should have just put Name of Programme instead of e.g:EastEnders and then finding a photo from Google (or other search engine) and making it hardly fit.

You can always, you know,
crop
the image.
Come on, next you'll be suggesting downloading an image which is sufficiently big that it doesn't end up all smudged and pixellated when you stretch it to fit the space...
Note that the UKTV version has a smaller BBC logo and has better spacing.
Spacing is also and issue with the linear ones, having a larger gap between the BBC logo and wording would make it less noticeable.
Don't like the reverse stacking approach à la 1991. It just reads wrong:
"You're watching TWO BBC Scotland"
The 1997 strip logo works better, however there's still a few things wrong with them.
For starters, make sure the ONE, ARTS, etc. is the same size as the letters in the blocks.
And having just the channel name coloured also looks odd. Maybe try something like this?
Agree the text above the logo doesn't work at all. The coloured text without the box looks fine on white - how well it would work in reality remains to be seen.
I do think these BBC mocks dominating the forum lately need to go somewhere though - many have been little more than what we see now with a bit of (fairly safe) experimentation with fonts and colour.
Err, how is that a copy of Martin's mock when clearly the two are substantially different?
Martin's is in a boxed format, whereas my mockup is stripped. Not to mention font and weight differences. Is it that I've used scarlet red as the main colour?

Well when I saw the image, it immediately reminded me of Martin's mock. Even though it was months and months ago
