The colours of the News and One still matches I'm afraid.

Can only echo what others have said, I'm afraid. Brand elements don't line up, colours have been barely touched where it counts.

If your guidelines are too restrictive to work with, then change them. Don't mix and match your logo sizes to fit the forum or your boxes (this is where I slipped up).

The "EastEnders" endboard looks blocky and awkward, and the "Tonight" menu is just too small, and washes out the screen with red.

There's lots of workable ideas hidden here, keep working on this and take what everyone's said into consideration. 2½ stars.

It might be worth, since you seem to be struggling with your logo guidelines, to actually work on just the logos for now - but - work on all the channel logos. Once you can get a full set* of channel logos working under the same set of rules, then move on to other areas. Concentrating on just four logos is clearly making you think only in terms of those logos, not the rules you say underpin them.

* BBC 1, BBC 2, BBC 3**, BBC 4 / Arts, BBC News, BBC Sport, BBC Weather, CBBC, CBeebies, BBC Parliament, BBC Alba & iPlayer as a minimum.
** The channel will still exist - it will still need a logo for use in cross-promotions.

I know I am still doing logos, but I cant help myself, I am going to start doing idents for BBC Two! Other channel idents I will do soon, but BBC Two is going to be fun! I am doing it handmade like how some 1991-2001 idents were made.

So, here it is the minimum logos! Now as you can see, CBBC and CBeebies are not shown. This is because those channels are hard to look the same, especially CBBC. As Declan said on the post said on here, BBC Arts needed to look vibrant. So, BBC Arts have got a new color. Tell me if BBC Arts needs a rethink, because BBC Arts is not final. BBC Alba has that symbol still because of joint owner, MG Alba.

I see any attempt at sticking to your guidelines has gone out the window, along with any attempts at consistency.

Can you just clarify if the coloured boxes are part of the logo, or just being used as a background? If the latter - ditch them and lay all your logos out nicely on one image.

Sorry but these just look worse in my opinion. The NEWS and ARTS colours are horrid and hark back to your early mocking days.

And as Dosxuk said you need to take time to make it look presentable. This looks like you've shoved your logos into a coloured box with no thought whatsoever.

As this is at the moment I can only give you 1 star. A real shame as I thought you were improving.

And this is what can happen when make some guidelines and stick to them (quick 30 min job so I know it's still pretty bad):

Working with something like this is an utter nightmare. I've optically aligned ONE, ARTS and ALBA to make them look a tad better.

Keep working on the idents. Perhaps when they're done you could have another go at logos, perhaps you could build the logo around the idents? Smile

A new approach is required, I agree.
The good thing about this though is that you're starting to make BBC One and BBC News use different tones of red.

The font you've used there is awful.

The Nexa font resembles a bit to the "Antenna" font used by Fox Sports and ads for The Ford Motor Company

With the menus, you should have just put Name of Programme instead of e.g:EastEnders and then finding a photo from Google (or other search engine) and making it hardly fit.
