A bit of TVC nostalgia (February 2015)

After a few months of research it's finally here. This is my recreation of Studio N8 as it stood between February 2010 and March 2013, IMO one of the best news sets.

More will be coming soon, different programmes and older versions such as 1999, 2000, 2003 and 2008. Before any renders appear I'm just trying to sort out the optimal frosted glass format, but nevertheless this is a set recreation not a lighting arrangement recreation and here it is.

An excellent recreation, you can see the effort and time has been spent to make it look accurate, even down to the seating and signage.

It would be very interesting to see it rendered in Maxwell or similar!

Nice job, DTV. Can you upload the all of your projects including the recent N8 set to my PM?

You can definitely see how much effort has gone into this. The computer screens, signage, glass transparency, etc. It's all spot on.

What more can I say? 5 stars.

Trying to gather a full list of changes for the 2008 set version, any help would be appreciated. I've so far got that
- There was a red glass panel where the frosting is next to the BARCO
- The desk used to be aligned straight as it was in the N24 days.
- One of the smart glass projection screens remained and was used for business.
- The pod remained in a similar style to the N24 set and did not have the lightwell newsroom backing.
- The 'globe' frosting next to the projection screen was different to as it was post-Feb 2010.
- The 'fat' pillar lightbox in the newsroom was still in the N24 style
- The LED lights used for GMT, WBR etc. were permanently in an ice white/blue shade.

DTV your "screenshot" seems to show a different version/render than the others? Any chance of seeing it render out in better quality?

Just finishing up 2003/2007 sets, those sets and renders will come once I've started and finished 1999/2000 Sets. Any photographs/layouts would be great.
