Yeah, capitals would be better now looking at the both logos

I've took a little bit of time out to test some other lowercase variations (which look terrible) and an uppercase version as requested.

I'm still happiest with the "ball bag" (cheers AxG!) but of course all your opinions are invaluable to me. Well, almost all Wink

I prefer the uppercase version of ARTS. ART logos tend to be avant garde, *look at me* and simplistic. Not warming to ball bag lol (my opinion)

Uppercase yes, but if it's to be uppercase, maybe a bit more bolder.

Hello there,

I don't want to muddy the waters (well I sort of do), but I can't help but think that maybe posting the same mock on a website linked to in your signature where you and someone else moan about the users of this site is a particularly good idea. If you take issue with some of the members of the board, which you seem to, I would think that they'd much rather you bring it up here rather than going back to some weird pseudo-TV Forum.

Kind regards (I have taken on board your criticism and am being much less catty this time),

How rude. Everyone knows we already have a place for that.

You know the worst bit about the arts logo? The sharp shape within the rounded BBC One font. The BBC One font was designed to compliment rounded shapes, you can't mix and match it just because it's a 'nice font' - find an alternative. Try Gill Sans even!

Critique,

The TV Lounge isn't actually a pseudo-TV Forum but a successor to another small forum that shut down back in April, which I was a member of. I linked to it as there are some interesting topics there that I felt people on TV Forum might be interested in reading.

If I do have issues with someone on TV Forum, I do bring it up on this site, I have done so on this thread. I'll when I first joined I didn't get off to the best of starts (like that terrible CBBC sketch)[/i] and took offence to those who dished out harsh criticism. I've learned from that experience and I'd like to apologize - I take back a lot of what I said then.

Mind you, all that being said, I like to know your problem with us talking about TV Forum, as you lot have a place for that too.

The difference being that there is a clearly signposted Metropol thread for this sort of thing.

The TV Lounge doesn't get as many members as this forum, so in reality, it should be allowed on both.

Moving away from BBC Arts (I'll come to that later on when I've got fresh ideas), some new bits and bobs for BBC2. This time, I've given the Windows package a chance to breathe box-free.
