Hello, everyone.

This is my first post, I actually created this account to share my ideas for a BBC rebrand.

I feel recently the logo of the BBC channels have become slightly unconnected.

My ideas for a new BBC logo style are pretty similar to the current logos but I feel are far more connected.

What do you guys think?

This should be moved to the Gallery section. This is a good attempt but I feel should be more modernised. The news logo is the best one though.

It is BBC 1, however with Gill Sans it does indeed look like an I.

Only the BBC letters should be blocks. It looks weird to split up a word like that, also seems a bit cheap. The concept must have took all of 30 seconds to conceive.

I appreciate your feedback. Next time I'll be sure to take your advice on board. Thank you!

Actually it does.

I'm usually kind to the newbies but all we have here is an extra squarte stuck on the end, and even that's not been executed well.

If this is your starting point fair enough but work on something that would actually work on screen before presenting it to the forum.

This is the BBC, circa 1997, done badly.

This is, quite frankly, appalling. Either a terribly recreated BBC logo or one that has been squashed horribly (by the way the BBC Blocks aren't square). Some horribly chosen colours with a number in them and a BBC News logo which is quite honestly the worst mock I have seen in months, a clip art globe? Why? with News in separate blocks but the 'W' has been squashed and just looks odd.

If I were to use my five point criteria:
Skill - None at all, this could take less than 5 minutes in PowerPoint the hardest part being the Google search for the globe.
Safezones - Not applicable here.
Look Good? - No - it looks like someone has murdered the great BBC brand and that 'W'.
Brand Inkeeping - Look for people who are 'rebranding' the BBC you have to complete a full list of logos for all the channels, departments, websites etc. and this gives me a selection of 6 poorly made BBC logos with absolutely no explanation of how this brand would work online/on screen/anywhere else.
Likelihood Factor - Would the BBC ever decide to put these on air?

Seeing as I can only give the numbers 1-5/5 it'll have to be 1, but as it has taken me longer to write this than to make your mock I would ideally like to give it 0/5.
ASO, Jory and gmb2014 gave kudos
