Why can't Pip bloody upload onto something that can be viewed here?

I can't give this anymore than one star at the moment due to not being able to view on neither the browser I use on my phone or my laptop.

Metropol is very hockey pokey when it comes to loading video. I recommend right clicking and downloading it so you can watch it with a native video player without stuttering.

Maybe it's time to upgrade to Windows?

Don't know what to say other than bloody brilliant!! Pip this is amazing.

I could easily see this package being used on screen, and its great to see how it can be adapted to suit individual shows.

Have you thought about trying it with different colours/tones to maybe suit different times of the day? This would maybe been having more than one ident but being similar to keep the great theme. It may look horrible but worth a try if you're able to.

I would love to be able to create animations like this but I wouldn't know where to start. Have you had professional training or did you teach yourself?

Metropol works fine for me when uploading video. I assume it's something to do with the video export settings that pip2 uses, they may not be optimised for streaming the file over the web.

However, the enthusiasts can work to their own rules, and don't have to consider the restraints and limitations imposed by the production process, overall creative direction, available assets, time or budgets.

I'm interested to know what you consider the restraints and limitations are of having a team of highly qualified designers and animators working on the latest cutting-edge tech, with access to reams of audience research, hours of high definition content and stock footage, months of lead time and a budget of tens of thousands of pounds with which to fulfil the client's brief?

Meanwhile...

VMPhil, fanoftv and Justin... sorry you're having problems viewing the uploads. I switched to Adobe CC a while back and despite migrating my settings Adobe Media Encoder, I've now realised, defaults to the wrong setting for web viewing every time it's opened. Now that you've brought it to my attention I've made the necessary adjustments. Thank you.

Thanks tomo359, I'm glad you're enjoying them. I haven't had any training and did teach myself, so it is possible. The next version only has the very merest hint of red and I'll be posting it shortly so you can judge for yourself if you think it's horrible or not (hopefully not Very Happy ).

Science and nature version of the globe this time, only a hint of red at the very beginning and in the flare of the sun which peeks out from behind. Hopefully you'll be able to view it without issue, its mp4, H.264, bitrate 1.5mbps.

Beautiful work Pip. I'm still having the issue through safari, but have viewed through firefox.

The one thing that I would consider in the nature one is the speed of the globe. It looks to be going a little fast to me, but maybe this is because the textures resemble the earth more so that the alternatives.

Brilliant work, Pip. Just fantastic. I love the concept of the sun giving the hint of red in the background and I think it works well.
