Okay, made me smile today about how many ITV News mocks there are on the front page of The Gallery at the moment. And this is something I've been working on a while. Before anyone says anything, I'm well aware that these designs look similar to my last. But I wanted to develop them more, as well as try something different.
I only have a Pre-Titles shot and then an endboard at the moment, but will attempt some more if anyone wants me to. The basic idea would be to evolve the opening sequence, opening each bulletin with the first shot of the globe in the centre, with the BBC logo below. This would be rotating, with a simple chord, quickly adding 'beeps', with drums entering the opening of the program, with the presenter(s) in-shot saying welcome to BBC News at ** O'clock, I'm.... before the opening titles or sting. Then the headlines and a final short sting/stab at the end.
Bit of a ramble, so here are the images
Pre-Titles
Six O'clock endboard. (Thinking about changing positions of the globe for different programmes, but unsure.)
Let me know what you think!
