That BBC News logo is really very pleasing to look at.

My thoughts really. Imagine they're live outside and it's really bright; with just white text and no box, the viewer wouldn't be able to see it.

I do like these though, particularly the astons. Not so sure about the titles and the logo still.

Neither do I. I think the clock should not disappear. Maybe the 'live' DOG should be bigger, have a background and be located under the clock?

I'm waiting for the regional version of this one, especially An La and Newyddion

Not 100% due to the live dog replacing the time.
What about if they were live at a news story for hours on end. Viewers wouldn't be able to tell the time.

Probably Neo Sans (Pro) series - I know because I have the whole series to compare.

Hmm, now that's quite good.
I suppose we could do with something better on the background of the titles, but overall, 99% I would say.
