BBC London News

Hi,
Because of the changes at Broadcasting House and the General Blandness of the BBC English Regions Look, I thought that the regions should get their own look. Eg Something that represents that region
I decided to start with London and this is how it looks. It is based around the London Underground Map which is a well known symbol and the Astons have different colours depending on what it is.

Horrible mock with minimal effort and execution. Very slapdash with no real skill involved. I could go on....

Well, no; a well known symbol might be the Underground roundel but the map is just that, a map. Familiar/iconic though it might be it's a very bizarre thing to base a news package, with no direct relevance to transport, around.

Its okay! but the tube map could be heavily edited with artistic bits! Will probably still need the rippling globe as per all BBC News Programmes

That's not the actual map. I can't place where I've seen that version before though... but I have somewhere.

And the cap I quoted is a prime example of why it's not suitable, imagine trying to find out about somebody's death and being treated to a tube map. How old are you, 12?!
