Since you Brits do not notice anything besides BBC, to get a comment, I had to come up with this idea.

And anyway, it's not the channel, it's the work. The fact that most people on here choose to create mocks of the BBC is irrevelant.

So, horrible colour, wrong BBC logo, and dated concept apart, it's quite good...

...the black background is faultless.

How about something like this? I know it's a rough as a badgers arse, and the fonts are wrong, but it probably took me less time to create than the OP's mock.

I'm not really into the old style BBC stuff, and also not keen on it being in 4:3. There's a reason the design was ditched.
The current iplayer style is pretty decent, it'll need something with a bit more thought to even come close.

Are you suggesting the BBC use their Ceefax system to broadcast VOD? That's a whole different kettle of fish!
