The circle expanding and contracting is very ITV with their dot and how trailers and idents link in to one another. Is there anything else that can be tried other than a circle or that form of animation?
Apart form that though, it looks lovely, but not sure if I like the plain text on the screen or whether it should be in a strap or how best to place the text at the end.
The '2' animation at the end of the trailer to reveal the programme name was very nice though.

Agree - really like that 2 animation, especially as it's not absolutely obvious at first what it is. Agree though the circle transition is too similar to ITV who've already claimed it and I think another option is required. C5 obviously use the circle too but they feel quite different to ITV, so I'm sure it could be done - although with cross promotion in mind maybe you need something consistent across the channels for the opening/closing transitions, using channel specific ones only to reveal the endboard.

It kinda works better when slower, but maybe not just as slow in the example video. With the lines and detail of the transition being so thin and it moving at such a speed, it gets lost mostly as is, and can disappear completely depending on what colour footage is in the trailer. It works for me when slowed down a bit. Really liking what you're doing with this so far. Will be interesting to see how BBC 3 and BBC 4's will look. I'm sure even with BBC 3 moving online only, there will still be branded adverts on 1 and 2 for the programming so BBC 3 should have its own 'look'.

This is really good. I love the blur at the bottom!
This isn't. Oh dear.

Doesn't BBC One West exist?

I am (once again) trying to explore ideas for bringing some consistency to the BBC logos, whilst hoping to make each logo strong by itself...
Below are some smaller ideas I have been exploring the past few days since I went back into developing ideas again.
