Hello TVF, I haven't posted some mocks in a while so here is my idea for a new look BBC.
I've kept the three boxes but steered away from the tired Gill Sans. The individual channel colours have been kept the same as well but all based on the same design.

I've changed the colour theme of BBC News to a plummy purple, however, I've kept the red in Breakfast to make it feel like its own not just BBC News at 6am.

Hope you like it! Constructive feedback welcome!

I'm sorry James, I know I've quoted you on one of Gatespacedesign's 'Sky Something' mocks but I asked for feedback, not just an image you post on everybody's work.

Please could you stop posting mocks? There's not been a single improvement in any of the 11 (yes, eleven) mocks you have put on here!

Feedback. Ah ok. Well, the logo is rubbish. The worst is BBC Four. Do you honestly think that that logo would ever be used? The answer : no.

Just look at the above two images then tell me your mock is good.

I think the BBC should opt for Comic Sans myself.....

Before posting mocks, you have to say to yourself "can I see this on TV?" and "is this an improvement to what is already on air today?". Unfortunately, the answer to both questions is no.

Often a great mock comes from an existing brand that is dire. For example, many successful mocks have come from tweaking the God-awful BBC Two design at the moment. Another example is the following BBC World News breakfiller mock: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rH2-ZqM-Cts&feature=related

If you honestly believe that your mocks are in the same species as mdta's breakfiller mock, you're on another planet.

I think this mock is really great - I think you should definitely continue.

Rolling Eyes In reality they look like they took 5 minutes in Paint. Really I do think you're a wind up merchant.

That actually is one of the worst mocks a TVF member has ever produced.

It looks dreadful... A very poor 'BBC' logo, and then a mixture of the 'Remove background' tool in PowerPoint and bizarre font choices.

I can only reiterate the comments made by everyone else. Stop and have a long, hard think. And then, think again. Repeat as necessary.
