So something like this then?

*

Hey, I tried something like that, actually! Smile As I scrammed around to devise a successor to the square concept, I went back to the "three blocks" style (like this one you've shown here), both in B/W and with blue/red/green colors for each block.

To be honest, what's the point? If this was real, the BBC would be hammered from the press and on social media about wasting licence fee money just to change the font and rounding the corners; then updating logos everywhere from stationery to signage.

Yeah, that's pretty much why "subtle" rebrands aren't that effective.

It wasn't my idea you know.

And this is why your arrogance never works here.
Just give up.

I have, actually. After coming to the conclusion that the "Square" design might not have much potential than I thought, I'm targeting my resources at my second BBC concept, and a potential ITV mock. (among some other experiments)

From this day on, I am a changed man. When ever I start a new mock, I will, in the words of Lyric's previous advice:

* Plan everything out, proofread, all that stuff.

* Ask myself "how would it work across platforms?"

* Also ask myself "How would the other brands fit?"

And lastly, in terms of my character flaws:

* Never again use arrogance in my vocabulary. I will now more modest than ever.

I hope so.

Yeah, I understand that. Embarassed Well, at least today, I've came to realize my character flaws. For that, I promise you, that when I start a new mock, I'll be a better person than ever. Smile

I'm unsure if I'll believe you.
It sounds like you'll go back to what you were before.

I won’t. I mean it for real this time, I promise.

Actions speak louder than words.
You shouldn't have to tell us that you're not cocky or arrogant, it should be evident in the way that you communicate with us in the first place.
People will be much more receptive to your work and much more willing to offer decent, constructive feedback if you make the changes that you're suggesting to your attitude.
Your work isn't bad by any means, but is also isn't perfect , so providing you're willing to accept this, and you're open to taking on board people's criticisms as well as accepting their praise, then you'll get along much better going forward.
BBI45, PATV Scunthorpe and BiggieSMLZ gave kudos
