I'm back.
Sorry for the delay, but I can blame that mostly because of this site's technical problems and eventual redesign, which looks awesome. I've spent all day managing how to implement both of my BBC concept idea further. I mainly focused on the first idea, but both of them look good in their own right. Here's how the two ideas play out in their respective branding ideas. (please note, that I'm focusing on primary brands here, with other brand to follow once I decide which one shows the most potential)
Concept 1:
Concept 2:
So, to summarize, I've opted for a horizontal, back-to-basics method for Concept 1. This means that a majority of the BBC channels and brands (except the six flagship radio stations) are in the horizontal style that was in play for channels like BBC One from 1997-2002-and I've managed to reduce the gap between the letters in between the logo's text.
For Concept 2, I've focused mainly on icons to express the BBC's channels, brands and radio stations. These icons would benefit very well on social media platforms, and is primarily written in lowercase, which also fits very well.
