What a wonderful mock... A capture with your own triangle and text inserted...
To be perfectly honest, anyone could do what you're doing, and they could probably do it a lot better... And, if you continue to post this tripe, then no doubt it won't be long until:
In all seriousness though, can I suggest something. Rather than uploading a batch of rushed mocks on a daily basis. Why not focus on making one single mock image. Use the time to apply whatever effects you think it needs to look authentic. But only do that once you are sure the design is right in the first place.
My very rushed joke mock above has a little bit more thought in it than maybe appears. If you look at the real 1989 idents most used an abstract representation of company logos in the triangle rather than the full thing. That's why rather than putting the TV part of the logo into the triangle I've put just quote marks on blue. You see its putting the thought in that makes the mocks look better, all the ageing techniques are just the cherry on top.
Take more time and put more thought into what you
design
. I know it might fall on deaf ears but I say it because I was looking at the archive of APFS and my older mocks were just as rushed as yours so slow yourself down and only post it when you're happy that you want everyone to see your progress a load of crap rushed mocks is a waste of the interwebs precious space.
Chopping a random triangle out of a logo and squeezing it into the 1989 generic look without any consideration for how it actually works does not a mock make.
If you are going to keep rehashing, or butchering as the case may be, ITV's generic look of 1989, at least look at some of the real examples before you go off and ruin something else:
