Article 13

Hi
I've read with interest the youtube article about Article 13. For those who haven't seen it here's the link:

While I understand the desire to protect copyright I feel the new ruling could prevent mockers from creating new videos. What do you think?

NB I know this is for mocks but this seemed to be appropriate.

I would be very wary about reading only YouTube's views on this subject. Google's entire business model is at threat if they can't just ignore copyright so they are taking a rather extreme view of the legislation. There are plenty of more balanced views available.
