Here are some mocks I've been working on during the past few weeks for Al Jazeera. I'd appreciate it if people could give me comments or constructive criticisms. Thanks!

I'd make the font on the flipper a little smaller and move the flipper itself higher up.

Also, if you watch AlJazeera English, Arabic, Documentary Channel, Childrens, infact any of the AlJazeera Network channels, the AlJazeera logo is a lot more prominent to the onscreen furniture, its not as small either, so maybe bring it down to were the straps are and make it bigger.

I do like the black and orange though, inkeeping with the current style.

Personally I'm not a fan of the Trebuchet font for news graphics - it kind of works on Newsnight, but I don't know if something a little more plain would work better for rolling news. Also the ticker could do with being moved up a little, as it's out of the safe area, and would get cut off on TVs with overscan.

Other than that, nice work - I could imagine those graphics being used with only a little modification.

In future could you put the updates in a new post so we can see who is replying to what?

I like these a lot though, and the orange works well.

Sorry about that. I'll do it next time. Thank you very much for your comment.

You might be interested to know the metropol uploader (which you've used here) generates small versions of your images as well as the BBCode, so you can copy and paste what's needed to show a small version linked to the full size one.

Just makes it a bit easier to see what you've put in the thread.

Thank you for that. I think it's going to take a bit of getting used to, the new layout of the site. It is far superior to its predecessor, however.

The updated versions look great. Well done.

Strange that you used BBC News presenters for Al Jazzera, but the designs look very proffesional indeed.

I like these a lot, and I'm glad it was pointed out that they were BBC Presenters, as I thought I was going mad!
