It's amazing to think that Al Jazeera English has only had one, minor graphics tweak in the almost 12 years it's been on-air. Their opening titles, theme music, and the Doha studio has been completely untouched.
With that in mind, I wanted to have a play with AJE's branding- I had a look at their sister channel, Al Jazeera Arabic, which last rebranded for their 20th anniversary in 2016. They built a vast new newsroom set, and launched new opening titles, music, and graphics.
The look of AJA is very simple, with a nice colour palette of blues and yellows. Here are some of their graphics...
So, this mock brings Al Jazeera English in line with their sister channel. Uniformity is all the range these days, after all...
