Saturday was best night on ITV1 in 2 Years

ITV1 had their best ratings for 2 Years on Saturday Night Pop Idol was watched by 13 Million people 14 Million viewers tuned in to watch the Pop Idol result, which was 60% of the available TV Audience Programmes on BBC1 got much lower ratings Jim Davidson's Generation Game got 3.

Well love it or loathe it seems everyone is talking about it, yes will it be Gareth or will it be Will ? There are a number of ITV1 Pop Idol trailers doing the rounds at the moment, so far I've seen the ones with the stars from Coronation Street, Emmerdale and The Bill.

Sunday Football on your Regional ITV1

Since Sunday 21st October, Regional Football matches have been shown on regional ITV1 from 2.00pm to about 4.30pm, under the banner 'Soccer Sunday Live' I've been keeping a record and up to this Sunday, the following number of matches have been shown in each region.

After spending a couple of days and nights in London, it has occured to me that what is on offer to the capital city and the home counties from the ITV1 companies, LWT/Carlton that this is just the sort of output that should be dished out to the regions.

Thought I'd design a new look for ITV1 again... Ident... Yeah yeah, it looks a bit like UK Gold, but I liked the effect. I tried to create a simple logo in a similar style to Carlton's, because the current logo looked rubbish on there.
