Which versions Channel 4 have used in recent years?

I had a tape that I watched the hell out of as a child featuring this ident and the original introduction, so it must've been that way in 1995.

If channel 4 where to launch a breakfast show

So the latest addition is text in a fairly standard form on coloured rectangles stuck on to screenshots of a studio which doesn't really match the graphics. I'd lower my score but I can't!

C4 wants to replace Sky News as 2015 election debate host

C4 arguing it should take over from Sky News in the roster

Sky covers the Election night. Channel 4 doesn't. Therefore Sky should broadcast an election debate rather than Ch4.

I figured this wasn't rebrand-related, but can somebody tell me why ITV never manage a smooth cut on HD? Every time they switch to Granada, it seems to jump back a second or two, and then whatever trailer is on for Granada Reports, Tony Morris is often cut off mid sentence.

I think you're forgetting that Princess is a business. Yes T4 isn't as big as it was and yes they have other productions on the air but T4 was a year round contract that's given them steady income for several years.
