BBC confirms ditching Children's programmes from BBC1, BBC2

I've really enjoyed watching the early morning b/w films this weekend on BBC2, makes a nice change. I particulary enjoyed They Flew Alone this morning with Anna Neagle.

I've just seen the new live action idents before CBBC today. Not the H.O.T ones,or the yellow/black ones,but a group of kids with a CBBC logo,that contains footage from Barrington and Robin from the excellent Maid Marian and her merry men!!!

There was a mistake on BBC ONE this morning, After CBBC 'HOT' finished at 11.15am, a trailer for 'Celebity Sleepovers' ran When it finished the end was shown for longer than usual, before going to a static picture of a cow (another trailer) Then the 'Whoops.

If you have or could capture the new CBBC idents with all the old ones mixed together in mp3 I would be very grateful if you could share them with me. I think there are five mixs, an end mix, and the extended little kids idents with the old animations mixed with the Tweenies.

CBBC Choice

CBBC Choice was cropped from yesterday. This is even worse as 90% odd of CBBC Choice's content is 4:3 so most of it is cropped. If the credits scroll along the bottom unless you are watching in letterbox they are chopped off the bottom of the screen.

Did anyone notice that CBBC on BBC ONE this afternoon was being refered to by the studio presenters as 'CBBC on ONE'? It also cropped up at the end of a few of the trailers.
