Yes, the reporters that were reporting from the North East last week for the newspapers didn't have much to report compared to those in the NW and Yorkshire.

What do you think of this idea, So YTV can show off that they have been producing regional opt outs for years, and try to keep Christa's viewers, Why don't they do what they used to do in 1993-1996 when Calendar was done from the Newsroom.

HI This week, Calendar is being presented by Christa Ackroyd and Fraser Maude, Mike Morris is on holiday. Fraser, only appeared last Autumn, and replaced Lesley Alexander in January 001 as the late news and Calendar News Round up presenter.

The Late Calendar News

Firstly, the Opening 'Calendar News' titles were stuck on the first frame for about 8 seconds before starting! The bulletin is being presented by occasional presenter Andrew Knight The auto-cue isn't working, which means Andrew had to read from the paper, and he wasn't really very good at it.

According to 'Digiguide', Yorkshire Television's Live Lunch programme is to be renamed; Calendar Lunchtime Live Which the older members of the forum may know, (or if you've downloaded a lot of stuff from before your time as I have!) was a programme name used in the early 80s on Yorkshire.
