BBC2 'Dalek' Ident/s

It says on this site,and on other sites,that the 'Dalek' idents are still used. However,I have seen them since the 'Doctor Who Night' in late 1999! Can anyone say if they are still going?

OK, so we got the BBC Two clock. After the news, in the East, we got a swan ident and CA from TV centre who said 'Time for some regional news now on BBC Two'.

BBC News on BBC Two tonight?

According to the EPG and BBC Whatson, BBC Two Wales are showing National News followed by Wales Today and weather at 11pm in the half-hour slot when the rest of the nations are showing Newsnight Review.

This topic got me thinking... Can we try to establish here how the various regional parliamentary programmes (Sunday afternoons) and regional documentaries (Thursday nights, I think) present themselves? 'Midlands @ Westminster' covers both the BBC Midlands and BBC East Midlands region.

Well, the BBC have kindly provided me with some wonderful quality BBC ONE and BBC TWO clock images, so I'm busy making v2.0. It will still be done in VB, but this time each version will be standalone, ie not combined, so the files won't be so big.

BBC2 regional on digital?

Why do people, even on DTT and Digital cable still get BBC2 England? Its annoying! We get UK Today rather than our regional news and we get the London centred Metropol rather than M@W.

BBC Two Off Air

BBC Two during the conference just went black,then replaced with a still of a Blade BBC Two ident 'No URL' This was replaced with a 14:9 apoligy caption on analouge and digital,later on digital got a 16:9 captaion.

This morning I see that, in England, BBC Two Scotland, BBC 2W and BBC Two Northern Ireland have movedin the EPG to 960, 961 and 962. This might add weight to the reports that 963 and 964 are being given to overlap ITV regions in the EPG, with the main region on 103.

BBC Two Invision Ceefax 16:9 on 4:3

I noticed that BBC had switched on their widescreen with Ceefax on BBC Two. Much of the text on the left hand and right hand side was missing with their 16:9 transmission mode switched on big rather than the letterbox format.
