Martin Popplewell / News 24 Noticed Martin Popplewell on N24 the other morning (wasn't he once part of the ITN C5 news team?). I thought he was quite relaxed and a little more informal than many of the N24 presenters (and clearly excited about the World Cup) - which I think is what a lot of forum users would like to see.
BBC World get News 24 style astons So BBC World now has the new look (News 24 style) style astons. Although tather than the bright red of News 24 they are a deeper red colour - more like the general World red.
News 24 Presenters I think BBC News 24 needs to give the presenters a shuffle around (e.g put Ben and Joanna on in the afternoon). Put your schedules here. This is for 24 hours of the day.
BBC News 24 Vs Sky News Well I just thought i'd see this new feature. Anyway, which is the best, BBC News 24 or Sky News?
BBC News 24 'Breaking News' Please if anyone from BBC News 24 is reading this, please stop that annoying 'BREAKING NEWS' caption from being typed onto the screen. It was in use again tonight, alternating between 'BREAKING NEWS' and 'BELFAST VIOLENCE' it really irritates and is extremely distracting.
BBC News 24 Background Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed a distinct lack of activity behind the set of BBC News 24? LOL Surely the professional feel would be conveyed better by showing a hustling newsroom! Just an observation Daniel
New BBC News 24 website See it now at With things such as presenter profiles and behind the scenes, etc.
Sky News or BBC News 24 Everyone is always saying 'News 24 has the best service...' or 'Sky News always has the best coverage...' but which station really is the best? News 24 and Sky News fans can battle it out here...
BBC News 24 (last night) Last night, just before 0200, instead of playing the countdown, they played the BBC World News Headline bed which is used during the night on BBC News 24.
BBC ONE-News 24 links Wahey! I've managed to record 1-minute's worth of the BBC News 24 Ident from Wednesday night (for some reason BBC ONE viewers were left with the Ident running before a very abrupt link into ABC World News and a scrolling Aston welcome).
