X Factor sound effects

Does anyone know where I can find the sound effects they use for the lines open/closed and the electricity type buzz used in guest VT's?

I doubt this is the real source, but during last year's final, they credited iStockPhoto. That website does contain a library of SFX. Most of the SFX whooshes etc. aren't the best, but there may be a few similar sounds which could be of help. It's not free though...

I remember reading that iStock had provided some of the animations for the LED walls - chances are they're just on the FX tracks of Extreme music CDs.

A lot of the music the X Factor uses for their intro VTs etc is from Extreme Music, so it's all library. I'd imagine the sound effects probably come from them too.

As someone else mentioned, the effects you've asked for aren't too unique so I'm sure there's very similar available elsewhere.
