The way you have gone about asking your question is all wrong. Just because you want to be the next Jeremy Paxman, don't start by being rude to everyone you meet.

If you won't take advice from other people on the forum and expect them to do what you tell them to do, then please, f*ck right off.

Mr Pot, I don't think you've met Mr Kettle...

Topov, the point is he was rude to everyone for no reason... I had right to be rude to him because he was insulting myself and others in the community by ordering us around.

I can't believe my 1000th post is about this moron.

Try TimeOut magazine. I got a placement from just one e-mail, they're based in Tottenham Court Road. The people are really friendly, they have a proper work experience scheme organised. My only problem was that the fourth day of my placement was July 7.

7th July hey.

News is always at it's best when there's a major breaking story. I suspect you might have found the whole event slightly electric. It's not to demonish the awful, terrorist attack's upon innocent people but I always think it provides one of the most inciteful eperiences into the media, showing the good, bad and the ugly aspects of news gathering.
Personally, I started my current job on September 11th and haven't looked back.

Hi,

I am a year 10 student at secondary school and I am looking for work experience in the summer in media or journalism jobs. By this I mean newspapers, radio, TV stations etc.

If anyone know of any organisations or companies that offer these places, I would be great full if you could inform me.

I have already applied at the main newspapers and the BBC so please don't tell me those ones.

Even better, if any of you work for a company could you please tell me if your company offer these placements.

Thanks Very Happy

You have to be 18+ to do work experience with any tv company such as BBC or ITV.
