2-LO was a mix made by David Lowe in 1999, coming from the 2LO Radio station of the BBC.
Sadly someone has ruined that version with some awful vocals.

I know what you're referring to; That particular recording came from a DAT tape from a friend of mine, so I'll have to look into it, however, it doesn't sound like DAT distortion.

However, that is better than nothing, no?

It's great, love it. Got surprised when I read that the ABC radio station in my capital city had the call sign derived from 2LO.
