WANTED : Good Animation Mocker

I was thinking of posting this in the MOCKS forum but before someone got told to put it here instead when they did that. Also, I've been banned, but anyway, moving quietly on...

Whenever I make home movies, I make them under the name SG8 Media, especially if I plan on posting them online somewhere. SG8 is a technical spin off of my surname, Southgate. Personally, I quite like the name, but rather than blandly putting Windows Movie Maker titles that say "SG8 Media Presents" at the beginning of my home movies, I'd like something different. Put it this way - you know at the beginning of Warner Bros. films, their logo has a little video ditty at the beginning, with the waving picture which rotates reflects and spins to eventually reveal the whole 3D logo. I would like to be able to use this clip like that - a sort of opening sting to all my films.

The text I would like used would be "SG8" in big, 3D lettering, then in much smaller writing underneath "Southgate Media". I would like it to be animated, with the jingle as posted at the bottom of this page in the background.

I would really love it if someone could maybe put one together, then post the URL here. I would prefer it in AVI or SWF format please, either of those would be great.

Because, as you've seemed to imply through the "moving quietly on" comment, you wanted to "lie low" so to speak, so to mention it seems rather ironic.

Please can we just get on with life and stop being all picky and nerdy? Thank you very much...

Do you want anything specifically to happen in this animation? Any certain font, colours and so on?

It APPEARS that you are trying to get some work for free, which you will make money off, is that right?

If so, then what's in it for the person who comes up with the design?

For any good designer, there's no carrot on the end of the stick. Hence no incentive to spend their time doing such a thing when they could be doing paid work.

Money talks, you know.

Yeah as BBC TV Cente said, you're unlikely to get this done (or at least not to a particularly high standard) if you don't offer anything in return.

So I'll do you a flash animation for £35.00 if you want?

I've created flash graphics and websites for a one-off student led regional news broadcast filmed at BBC Bristol, as well as a website for BBC Midlands Today weatherman Simon Keeling.

I have just finished an official forum website banner for BBC2's The Armstrong's and created the opening title sequence for JBC News, a school news channel in Scotland.

NO I don't plan to make money from the site - it will be for a website which makes flash animations and allows people to view them for free. They will mostly be comedy, but hey it could be anything.

Whilst I won't be MAKING money I will be paying for it.

YES I would like people to do it for free. Some people did it for H.Smart's School News Titles, so maybe you could be kind enough to do something else.

Well, that was a school project and a teacher required it so it was for a charitable concern in a way. You however are not and may end up with something third rate if anything. Electric Bugaloo seems willing to help for nothing, probably the only one.
