Hi there

Just wondering if anyone had any music from TV-am's Good Morning Britain. I used to have the full package but lost it over the years.

Thanks

Do you mean the original theme (the one originally used for Daybreak and later Frost on Sunday) or the second more majestic theme that accompanied the Sky Divers/Pigeons/Battleship/Field titles?

There was a semi-decent copy on YouTube of both themes in full taken as they aired prior to start up one morning.

I've found the decent quality copy of the Daybreak music but looking for tracks used on the main programme Good Morning Britain.

Does anyone have a copy of the TV-am News theme composed by Ed Welch used from about 1989 through to the SKY News service in 1992? Thanks.

There's various ones used over the years for various strands, I'm assuming NicB1971 is referring to this one (from 1:15) which is the earliest version of this theme I've been able to find:

Then of course there's the Morning Report which also had its own theme which was a variant on the main GMB theme, but the main news theme to the above changed somewhere between November 1988 and August 1989 as the Gavin Martin channel has a full episode from 1988 which seems to be an house job.

Yes, it's the TV-am News titles from 1:15 which were in use until the demise of TV-am on 31 December 1992; it was composed by Ed Welch. The titles for TV-am Reports at the start of this footage uses a library piece, I believe.

Yes the titles for TV-AM reports is library and was used by North Tonight and others. Network on that three letter library.

Transdiffusion uploaded it to their Soundcloud and can be found here: https://www.soundcloud.com/transdiffusion/daybreak-long

Just needs the Transdiffusion ident taken from the beginning.

Lord David Dundas Still claims to have not written this piece.

Even though everywhere you look, he's listed as composer!
