Technical help - STV North on SKY

My parents have a Sky box and seem to be picking up STV from Glasgow. I have tried following the add channels advice on independent net forums but to no avail...any help? Trying to get STV north...

At what stage are you coming unstuck? You are never going to get a different channel on 103 or 178 on your own, but you should be able to add STV North to the Other Channels screen without any issues.

10906V, 22000, 5/6 seem to be the magic numbers.

It will them who can change it back to STV north, Im sure it goes by the post code.

Sky boxes have the postcode programmed in to the activation card, you cannot change it. Sky will need to reissue the card if its incorrect. As has been said you can manually add the channel, but it will never appear on 103 unless the card is changed.

Someone has said there was an issues with the STV north news tonight?

In 'Add Channels' there should be 3 STV's that appear after entering the frequency and the first one is STV North. And STV+1 on Sky is named as 10225.

It's only Freesat where you can change the region via your postcode.
