Scratch 'n' Sniff's Den of Doom

15 episodes were made, that's £38.60 per episode. I used to be on the fan forum for a popular children's TV show made by Anglia TV and about 15 years or so ago they were charging about £38 per episode and it was justified as covering all the labour, the equipment and the time considering it would have come as dups from physical videotape; these days I dare say the entire lot's been digitised so it's perhaps not surprising the cost hasn't changed 'that' much but it does go to show how expensive TV could be, £580 for a children's show alone.

So I take it if you crowdfunded the programme it could bring the cost of the series? 20 people might it get it down to £20 each?

Why would anybody want to crowdfund it though 11 years down the line? In 20 years time maybe more so when the young people who would have watched it get all nostalgic for what they grew up with.

Yeah, maybe at most i'll be willing to buy a single episode, I can hopefully wait until episodes find their way online or CITV miraculously re-broadcasts it. For comparison I think Trapped only just got all its episodes uploaded to YT and that show was from the same year, albeit more popular. So I suppose it'll take some time for DoD.

EDIT: Checked and individual episodes cost £85 and they're not planning on broadcasting it again in the near future
